Day 1: Phnom Penh Arrival
Welcome to Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s vibrant and bustling capital city. Despite its recent turbulent history, Phnom Penh’s wide tree-lined boulevards and faded colonial mansions hold an undeniable charm. Upon arrival, our tour guide will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. Now enjoy some free time to rest and freshen up before driving to the dock to catch an evening boat cruise along the Mekong River to watch the sunset over the shimmering city. Day 2: Phnom Penh City Tour
Phnom Penh was founded in the 14th century and has long been a vital trading hub at the confluence of three rivers: the Mekong, Tonle Sap, and Bassac. Start the day learning about the Khmer Rouge and Cambodia’s recent history on a guided tour of the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and the notorious Choeung Ek “Killing Fields”. Our cultural tour continues as we visit the National Museum - a journey into ancient Khmer art and civilization and the Royal Palace, home to the royal family and the opulent silver pagoda. Day 3: Phnom Penh - Drive to Kep
Today we will take you to Kep, a seaside resort town popular with the French in the early 1900s. Stop at Tonle Bati, the temple of Phnom Chisor and Kompong Trach en route. Meals: Breakfast Accommodation: Hotel in Kep

Day 4: Kep to Sihanouk Ville
Start the day with breakfast at the hotel followed by a drive along the southern coast to Sihanouk Ville, stopping at Kampot en route. The whole afternoon is free to spend as you wish. Meals: Breakfast Accommodation: Hotel in Sihanouk Ville

Day 5: Sihanouk Ville

Day 6: Sihanouk Ville - Phnom Penh
Return to Phnom Penh today, stopping along the way at Kirirom National Park to see its stunning waterfalls and wildlife. Meals: Breakfast Accommodation: Hotel in Phnom Penh

Day 7: Phnome Penh - Drive to Battambang
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart Phnom Penh for Battambang by private car. Stop in Kompong Chhnang to see the pottery village. You will visit the floating village with private boat at Krar Kor. After lunch, go to the stone carving workshops in Pursat. Arrive in Battambang in the afternoon. Meals: Breakfast Accommodation: Hotel in Battambang

Day 8: Battambang
Take a morning drive along the picturesque Sangker River to Wat Slaket Pagoda, the residence of the provincial Buddhist patriarch. Continue to visit Wat Ek Phnom. Visit a market where Prahoc, the Cambodian fish paste, is made. Visit the Provincial Museum (closed on Saturdays / Sundays) and the local market. Take a visit to Phnom Banon, with its five sandstone towers on top of a hill and enjoy a magnificent view until sunset. Meals: Breakfast Accommodation: Hotel in Battambang

Day 9: Battambang - Siem Reap
Option A: (This option is available between mid July to mid February only, when water levels are sufficiently high to navigate the Sangker River and Tonle Sap!). Travel by private boat to Siem Reap along the Sangker River and enjoy unspoiled landscapes and traditional daily-life scenes. Stop at Cheur Khmao Pagoda, “Black Wood Pagoda”, in Bak Prier floating village and cross the floating village of Prek Tuol. Enjoy a picnic lunch as you sail across the Tonle Sap Lake to Chhong Kneas floating village. Option B: (Feb-July) Depart from Battambang to Siem Reap via Sisophon by overland transfer. Lunch at a local restaurant in Sisophon then continue on to Siem Reap, check in to the hotel for a little relaxation. Meals: Breakfast Accommodation: Hotel in Siem Reap

Day 10: Siem Reap: Discover Angkor Temples (with a hot air balloon experience)
Enjoy an entire day dedicated to discovering the mysterious Angkor temples. Wake before dawn and take a tuk-tuk ride to visit the jungle-entwined temple, Ta Prohm, at sunrise. Dawn is one of the most beautiful and haunting times to visit the temples, whose ancient sandstone blocks are gilded gold by the early morning rays. Return to the hotel for breakfast then set back out on a full day temple tour. Starting with the magnificent Angkor Wat - the largest Khmer temple and finest example of Angkorian art and architecture, we proceed to Angkor Thom’s imposing South Gate, topped with the four serenely smiling faces of Avalokiteshvara. Next, visit Bayon Temple, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. If weather permits, enjoy flying the balloon over the Angkor Wat. Meals: Breakfast Accommodation: Hotel in Siem Reap

Day 11: Cooking Class in Siem Reap – Afternoon relax
This is the day of discovering the secrets of authentic Khmer cuisine in a half-day cooking class. Begin with a walk and talk along the country lanes in the village where you will learn about Cambodian vegetables, herbs, and other ingredients before returning to the classroom for a hands-on culinary experience. Day 12: Siem Reap - Old market – Departure
